PC System Requirements

6:22 NetEase has not published PC system requirements for Ananta as of Oct 21, 2026. Steam's store page, the only official listing with a requirements box, names just the operating system, "Windows 10/11 64-bit or later", and gives the processor and the graphics card as "TBD" for both the minimum and the recommended PC. The specs that have circulated since the release date was announced on Aug 25, 2026 (an Intel Core i5-9400F and a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB at minimum, a Core i7-12700K and a GeForce RTX 3080 recommended, 40 to 100 GB of storage) were reported by Gfinity and GuruGamer and appear nowhere on Steam or NetEase's global site. Arekkz Gaming, going through them on Aug 27, 2026, says they "come from this screenshot posted on Reddit" and points out the big gap between the two tiers, which he expects in a game that also has to run on phones. What NetEase has confirmed is the graphics technology: NVIDIA DLSS 4 and DLSS 4.5 for what it calls a "ray-traced world". Ananta is free to play and launches on Jan 15, 2027 (Release Date and Time).

What Steam says

Steam's page is the only official requirements box so far. Ananta's listing (app 4814120) has a minimum and a recommended column, and on Oct 21, 2026 both read the same: "OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit or later", "Processor: TBD", "Graphics: TBD". There is no line yet for memory, storage or DirectX. Steam lists the game for Windows only, with no macOS or Linux version, and NetEase has said nothing about Steam Deck. The official site and the PlayStation Store list no PC specifications at all. The reported specs

6:51 The recommended tier is a big step up from the minimum, and nobody has said what it is meant to deliver. Arekkz reads it out: a Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 9 9900X, 32 GB of memory and an RTX 3080, with 100 GB of storage, and DirectX 11 for both tiers. The list, he notes, does not say what resolution, frame rate or graphics settings the recommended PC is meant to reach, "so we wouldn't read too much into these numbers just yet".

The sources disagree on where the list came from. Gfinity (Aug 26, 2026) says "the official Ananta account took to Bilibili", the Chinese video site, to share it; GuruGamer (Aug 26, 2026) calls them "the specs most widely reported from TapTap", a Chinese app store, and says NetEase has not confirmed them; Arekkz Gaming read them from a screenshot on Reddit. None of these is Steam or the global site, so the figures are a preview at best until NetEase publishes its own.

Can my PC run Ananta?

Nobody can say for certain until NetEase publishes the requirements. Against the reported list, a Windows 10 or 11 PC with 16 GB of memory and a graphics card at the level of a GTX 1060 6GB is the floor, and an RTX 3080 with 32 GB of memory is what the recommended tier asks for, at settings the list does not name. The same game also runs on phones and on PS5, and Ash Qi, the lead producer, told the Korean site Inven in Sep 2025 that the team aims for the same quality on PC, console and mobile (Platforms). Anyone deciding now can pre-register for free and check the official specs before launch on Jan 15, 2027.

DLSS and ray tracing

Ananta supports NVIDIA DLSS and ray tracing, NetEase's official site said on Aug 27, 2026: "Having previously confirmed support for DLSS 4, ANANTA will now be upgraded to support DLSS 4.5, including Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, enabling its ray-traced world to be rendered at even higher frame rates, and with even better image quality." The post names only NVIDIA's technology, and NetEase has not said which settings or graphics cards the features need.

0:44 The PC demo at Tokyo Game Show 2025 already played like a PC game. Braxophone, who started with the demo's story mission, says that "right off the bat, this game does not feel like a mobile game", and that it beat the expectations the trailers had set.

Keyboard or controller

4:40 Both work. The Tokyo Game Show 2025 demo ran on PC with a keyboard: in Steparu's footage of Sep 25, 2025, a player asks whether swinging has a stamina limit and is told to just hold the space bar. Steam lists DualShock and DualSense controller support, and also "Partial Controller Support".

2:41 At gamescom 2026, IGN's Simon describes the demo on a PlayStation controller: R2 swings the Captain through the city, while the same button, played as Taffy, summons her bike, and on the bike, where he expected R2 to accelerate, it switches on disco lights in the wheels. PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro

The PS5 version has no published requirements because the console is fixed hardware. Its PlayStation Store listing marks Ananta as "PS5 Pro Enhanced" and "Power saver supported", and also says "Online play required" and "Vibration function and trigger effect required (DualSense wireless controller)" (read Oct 10, 2026). NetEase has not said what the PS5 Pro mode adds in resolution or frame rate. Neither PS4 nor Xbox is on NetEase's 2026 list of platforms (Platforms).

Phones and tablets

NetEase has not published mobile device requirements as of Oct 21, 2026: no list of phones, chips or memory. Apple's App Store pre-order listing says "Requires iOS 15.0 or later" for iPhone and iPod touch and "Requires iPadOS 15.0 or later" for iPad, a store minimum rather than a device list, and NetEase has named no Android devices or versions. Apple's store data gives the iOS release as Jan 15, 2027 at 08:00 UTC and the app's file size as 1,343,466,496 bytes, about 1.3 GB (App Store lookup, read Oct 21, 2026); that is the size of the pre-order package Apple holds now, and NetEase has not said how much more the game downloads on first launch or whether the final build will be larger. Device lists that circulate online are estimates by their writers, not NetEase's.

Storage and download size

NetEase has not said how much space Ananta needs on any platform as of Oct 21, 2026. The reported PC list gives 40 GB at minimum and 100 GB recommended, and Steam's own box has no storage line yet. On iPhone and iPad, the App Store's pre-order package is about 1.3 GB (read Oct 21, 2026), which does not settle the full install size.
