NetEase has not said whether Ananta will have crossplay or cross-save between PC, PS5, iOS and Android as of Nov 1, 2026. NetEase has not announced crossplay or cross-save for Ananta as of Nov 1, 2026: no statement says whether a player can carry a save from PC to PlayStation 5 or a phone, or play with friends on another platform. The only hint is on Steam, which lists "Cross-Platform Multiplayer" among the game's features beside "MMO" and "Online Co-op" (read Nov 1, 2026). That tag is not an announcement, and it sits oddly with what the developers say: Ananta launches on Jan 15, 2027 as a story-led game, with a multiplayer mode still in development and not promised for launch (Multiplayer and Co-op). Does Ananta have cross-save?

Not as far as anyone has said. NetEase's announcements, the official site and the store pages describe no shared account and no way to carry progress between PC, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android, as of Nov 1, 2026. Ananta's PC version comes through two storefronts, its own client and Steam, and its phone versions are published under different names on each store: NetEase Interactive Entertainment on the App Store and "Exptional Global" on Google Play. Nothing yet says whether one account ties them together.

Does Ananta have crossplay?

There is nothing to cross-play yet. Ananta is a single-player game in everything NetEase has shown; its producer told Famitsu in Sep 2025 that it is not an MMORPG and that a multiplayer mode is planned, and NetEase said at gamescom 2026 that the mode is in development, with details to come. NetEase's last global open-world launch shared progress. Where Winds Meet, which came out on PlayStation 5 and PC on Nov 14, 2025, supports crossplay between the two and cross-progression on one account, with progress "saved on the account", Insider Gaming reported; its phone version followed on Dec 12, 2025. The games Ananta is most often set beside do the same: HoYoverse confirmed cross-progression and crossplay across PC, PS5, iOS and Android for Zenless Zone Zero at its 2024 launch (TouchArcade). None of that commits NetEase to anything for Ananta (Ananta vs Zenless Zone Zero).

Should I wait to pick a platform?

You do not have to choose now. Pre-registration is free on the official site, the App Store and Google Play, with wishlists on Steam and the PlayStation Store, and pre-registering on one does not stop you playing on another; the milestone rewards are counted for all players together (Pre-registration and Rewards).
